Encore is a singing and dancing group representing UVSC through performances at a variety of community functions. The luncheon honored over 435 employer partners in the program tor their ongo ing support of UVSC and cooperative education. Students involved in cooperative education often work with local employers on an intern basis, compiling college credit in the process. Awards will be given for "Man of the Year," "Woman of the Year," "Office of the Year," "Spirit Award," "Talent of the Year," "Educator of the Year' "Service Award" and "Achievement of the Year." This event is free. The UVSC vlfi Explorers are host-ing the Third Annual Spring Fever Fun Run on April 12, 1997. Starting time for the race will be 8:30 a.m. at North Park, 500 N. 500 W. in Provo. Preregistration fees are S15 tee shirt included and $7 without. Registration fees (for theday of the race) are $18 tee shirt included and $9 without. Synergy Dance, UVSC's modern dance company, wilt be holding their spring concert on April 3 and 4, at 7:30 p.m. in the Ragan Theater. Tickets are $4 for studentsfaculty and $5 for general admission.
