Witchcraft is Misunderstood Form of Worship Yvonne Devine Staff Writer There are many different types of magic worship groups. Witchcraft is the most misunderstood of all the groups according to Randy Johnson, occult expert who lectured recently at the UVCC Law Society Seminar. Having started in old England, true witches worship the female essence and the male essence known as the horned god of life. There is no such thing as a warlock, just male and female witches. They strive for self improvement or improvement of the group. They practice only white magic, using it to cast spells for love, good health, etc. Their creed is "Least ye harm none do as ye will." Voodoo is a combining of gods or ideas. This year more than 934 students are listed to receive various degrees and certificates. "Commencement is a time when many educational goals will be realized; for some, graduation from UVCC will mark the pinnacle of educational success. For others, commencement simply will mark the beginning to a lifelong pursuit of educational aspirations," said Kerry D. Romesburg, UVCC president. Congressman William D. Ford, of Michigan's 15th Congressional District, will speak about the importance of postsecondary education at the commencement exercises. "Congressman Ford is the principle author of the Middle Income Student Assistance Act and the Education Amendments of 1980," Romesburg said.
