fa tab turn Vol. 7 No. 9 UTC Sweeps By Ethel Cowing The State of Utah Junior Collegiate DECA Officer's Elections were held on Nov. 4 and 5 in Logan, Utah, with UTC sweeping the slate of officers. Mike Zufelt of UTCP was elected President for the 1978-79 year. Other officers are Vice-President, Angela Coviello UTCP; Secretary, Linda Bradford UTCP; and Reporter Jerie Jeppson also from UTCP. The new officers were announced at a brunch by last year's JC DECA Vice-President Steve Peterson. After elections everyone left for Idaho for a leadership conference sponsored by LDI. Last year's DECA President, Brent Lundell, was also Hearings The Utah State Records Committee will open hearings on Administrative Rule All-21-ly adopted August 9, 1977 pertaining to salary information, according to T. Harold Jacobsen, State Archivist. "Payrolls of state agencies and institutions shall be permanent records. She is now a freshman in marketing at UTC. Robin Hammon, a freshman in business management at UTCP&O was elected state DECA Secretary. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gary R. Hammon of Spanish Fork. Jerie Jeppson, a sophomore in legal secretarial studies was elected Reporter. She is the daughter of Mr. and mrs. Jack Jeppson of Pleasant Grove, Utah. As president of the school, Sorensen functions as the chief executive officer of the committee, which consists of eight governor-appointed members and two ex officio members: studentbody president and a representative of UTC alumni.
