Good progress is being made on the Student Center Addition and the Physical Education Building, and these facilities, when completed, will greatly improve our ability to provide the social and recreation experiences that students need. As with all construction, however, some inconveniences must be tolerated for a period of time. We are trying to make the inconveniences as minimal as possible, and hope you will bear with us during the construction phase knowing how beneficial to all of us the end result will be. A nonrefundable $50 fee, beginning Fall Quarter 1983, will be imposed on all students. Those who pay the $50 fee prior to registration will be required to pay the balance of the total tuition and fees onor before September 30, 1983. Students withdrawing from school before classes start (October 3, 1983) will forfeit the $50 fee. Students withdrawing from school after October 3, Registration for all new students with approved schedules will be according to the following schedule on the Provo Campus: September 27 - 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. New Student Registration for all who applied before May 2 and paid $50 deposit before July 15. Although enrollment has increased year by year, we have now reached the point where we many not be able to take every student who would like to be admitted to the college. However, we will continue to provide quality education, and within that framework enroll as many 1983, will be refunded a prorated amount of tuition and fees with a minimum penalty of said $50 deposit. Sponsored Students must provide the College with a let ter of authorization from the sponsoring agency in lieu of the $50 deposit. The 1983 Utah State Legislature did not appropriate funds for substantial enrollment growth, and it is therefore necessary that the College determine the number of students who are sincere in their desire to attend Utah Technical College in 1983-84.
