Nearly 3,000 people died when the WTC was destroyed on September 1 1 , 200 1 . Today there are three projected designs to replace the two towers. All of the new concepts are designed with five connected cylindrical towers. Each has a 200 foot bio-dome at the base. Concept 1 tops out at 1,750 feet at the peak pyramid which covers all five towers. Concept 2 adds 20 feet to the bio-dome base, and peaks at 2,200 feet at the point of the communication mast. Concept 3 varies from 2 by replacing the pyramid top with a large dome. All three concepts will feature some of today's top security devices and a memorial to all those who lost their lives two years ago. View and vote for your favorite concept at www.WTC2002.com.
