Utah Association of the Deaf

The Utah Association of the Deaf (UAD), established in 1909, is one of the oldest state associations in the United States. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to the educational, social and economic welfare of the Deaf in Utah.

The Utah Association of the Deaf digital collection will consist of UAD materials such as scrapbooks, meeting minutes, photograph collections, UAD publications, and other materials that help to document the history and contributions of this association.

We would like to express our appreciation to Valerie G. Kinney, Jodi B. Kinner, David Samuelson, and Shirley Platt for their donations of many of these materials on behalf of the Utah Association of the Deaf.
